3 police officers, 4 civilians injured in explosion in Arish

Security sources said three police officers and four civilians were wounded Friday in armored vehicle explosion in North Sinai's Arish city, Al Bawaba News reported.
The sources added that the wounded were transferred to Arish Military Hospital for treatment.
Since September 2013, Egyptian army and police have been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against terrorist groups in Sinai after they claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel.
