Cairo Criminal Court resumes Monday the trial of the ousted president, Mohamed Morsi and 10 Muslim Brotherhood (MB) defendants over leaking classified documents related to Egypt's national security to Qatar, al-Bawaba News reported. Port Said criminal court resumes Monday the trial of 51 defendants in the case publicly known as "Port Said prison case", al-Bawaba News reported. The defendants are accused of killing police personnel and inciting violence against civilians, as well as endangering the safety and unity of the society. Cairo Criminal Court also resumes Monday the case involving 23 jihadists in the case publicly known as Ansar al-Sharia (Partisans of Islamic Law), al-Bawaba News reported. Late Top Prosecutor Hesham Barakat, had referred 17 of the defendants to the Cairo Criminal Court, last August, presided by the Supreme State Security Prosecutor, Tamer Fergany. The defendants were charged for extremism, targeting Christians, and stirring chaos and violence against state institutions.
