Egyptian courts will resume Tuesday several terror-related cases involving Al Qaeda leader Ayman Al Zawahri's brother and the Ansar Al Sharia terrorist group. Cairo criminal court will resume the trial of Mohamed Al Zawahri, AQ leader Ayman Al Zawahri's brother and 67 co-defendants in the case publicly known as 'Al Zawahri cell' Al Bawaba News reported. The defendants face charges of forming a terrorist group affiliated with Al Qaeda, assaulting policemen, civilians and public property as well as endangering the safety and unity of the society. Cairo Criminal Court will also try 23 members of the Ansar Al Sharia (Sharia Allies) Brigades, who face charges of killing a policeman and 11 police recruits, attempting to kill 9 others, and joining an extremist organization.
