Egyptian courts will try Tuesday several terrorism-related cases, including AQ-affiliated 'Al Zawahri terrorist cell' and the banning of the Muslim Brotherhood from upcoming parliamentary elections. Cairo Criminal Court resumes witnesses' hearings in the case of Mohamed Rabie Al Zawahri, AQ leader Ayman Al Zawahri's brother and 85 other defendants, known in the media as the "Zawahri Cell Case." Defendants are charged with forming a terrorist group affiliated to Al Qaeda, assaulting policemen, civilians and public property as well as endangering the safety and unity of the society. Sharqia Terrorism court will issue a sentence against Adel Habbara and 8 other Takfiri militants, charged with joining Takfiri groups and inciting violence against the police and army. State Council's administrative court will try the lawsuit against members of the Muslim Brotherhood and the National Alliance to Support Legitimacy, requesting to ban them from running in the upcoming parliamentary elections. The lawsuit is based on a previous sentence against the Brotherhood, designating it as a terrorist organization.
