Egyptian courts will resume Sunday terror-related trials, including the storming of Al Tebeen police station in Cairo, the case publicly known as "Al Zawahri cell" and the "Alexandria terrorist cell" case, Al Bawaba News reported. Cairo criminal court will resume the trial of Mohamed Al Zawahri, AQ leader Ayman Al Zawahri's brother and 68 co-defendants charged with forming a terrorist group affiliated to Al Qaeda, assaulting policemen, civilians and public property as well as endangering the safety and unity of the society. The court will also resume the trial of 47 defendants for storming Al Tebeen Police Station, attempting to kill police officers, joining terrorist groups and arson. The same court will resume the trial of 104 defendants in the Bulaq Abul Ela events who face murder charges as well as joining terrorist organizations, inciting violence and using weapons against civilians. Giza Criminal court will try 45 defendants in the case publicly known as the "Alexandria terrorist cell" for joining an outlawed group, assaulting police and army personnel and setting fire to police vehicles. The defendants also face charges of bombing electricity towers, arson of a gas station and plotting to overthrow the regime.
