Egypt's Al-Moetamar (Congress) party vice president, Hamid al-Shinawy said that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi's order to revive the Eastern Port Said project has been received with deep satisfaction, Al-Bawaba News reported Wednesday. "The revival of the project is a remarkable step that proves the political administration's keenness on real and sustainable development," al-Shinawy stated, praising the presidential decision. The long overdue project, which includes expanding the Port Said port and establishing an industrial and logistical zone, is expected to provide about four hundred thousand jobs, including engineering industries, motor vehicles, household electronic appliances and packaging as well as infrastructure projects to get connected with the New Suez Canal axis project.
