Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab meets today a number of public figures of the Italian government headed by Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, President of Italy Sergio Matarella, Italian defense minister Roberta Pinotti, and Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Jantalony. The visit also witnesses the signing of several memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Egyptian and Italian governments in the oil, energy and electricity fields. Cabinet spokesperson Ambassador Hossam Alqauish said that Mahlab emphasized the strength of the Egyptian-Italian relations in political, economic, trade and cultural sectors, referring that the current visit comes in the framework of venues of joint co operation between the two countries.
