The concert brings to Egypt for the first time American Jazz musician Chelsey Green and her band the Green Project. Chelsey and the band are Jazz artists who have a unique contemporary approach to this heritage form of American music. Playing with Chelsey from Egypt is the well-known indie/folk Egyptian singer Dina El Wedidi, who has a similar approach to reinventing Egyptian traditional music. Chelsey and Dina will present their original work, as well as a collaborative fusion which will be played for the first time during the concert.
