, is an enchanting exhibition of paintings by Ayman Taher currently on display at Al-Bab Hall located in the Museum of Modern Egyptian Art on the Cairo Opera grounds. Taher is the son of late veteran artist Salah Taher. He has been influenced by his father's artistic school with its musical rhythm and the expressionistic abstract visual content that cares about essence and expresses the real spirit free from academic restrictions. The self has always been the focus of his research. Ayman Taher's world suggests the control level over the instinctive impulse and he depicts humanitarian relations and feelings in his themes. He is concerned about the souls of people, and he always endeavours to express them in many different forms. Drama is also obvious in his art formations that appear as figurative fantasies such as his ballerinas and the way they move smoothly and simply. He gained fame for his usage of special motifs that vehemently reflect his infatuation with photography, his favourite hobby, and its techniques. In some parts of his paintings, he highlights the tiny details that create a meaningful perspective and serve in delivering his ideas. The artworks on show at this exhibition are an extension of the school of his father, the pioneer Salah Taher. However, they hold specific original characteristics and reflect a world of art that has its very own style and vision. The exhibition continues through 10 February
