We don't fear any opponent, says Ghana coach
The Ghanaian coach insists his side isn't intimidated by its group pairings alongside Germany, Portugal and the US

Ghana are unfazed that they'll be taking on heavyweights Germany, Portugal and the United States in this summer's World Cup, coach Kwesi Appiah said on Thursday.
The Black Stars were handed a difficult group alongside Germany, Portugal and the US, but Appiah insisted his side isn't afraid of the tough competition.
"We don't fear people. We respect them. We have all qualified on merit and so there is no issue about fear," Appiah was quoted as saying by Ghanasoccer.net.
"I don't see my team [being] scared of any other team at the World Cup. We'll take every match as it comes. The important thing is to have our players ready for the tournament.
"If we're afraid, then why are we going there in the first place?
"We also have quality players who play in Europe and other leagues with these same players.
"As far as I'm concerned, it's about the spirit and belief that we can do it. We just have to be patient and see how things go."
Ghana, who reached the World Cup quarters in 2010, are looking to be the first African team to reach the World Cup semifinals this summer in Brazil.
