Popular Jordanian indie band Autostrad will be holding several concerts in Egypt from 8 to 12 April. The band, which was founded in 2007 in Amman, has performed in Egypt several times before in the past few years, always to packed audiences. Although the band's music and lyrics are derived directly from their day-to-day experiences in Jordan, they tackle universal themes such as love, freedom and financial constraints, which is why young music fans from all over the Arab region relate to their songs. The band will kick off their Cairo performances with a gig at the Jazz Club on 8 April, followed by concerts in Darb 1718 and El Sawy Culturewheel on 10 and 11 April respectively. The group will then head to Alexandria, where they will perform on Cinema Rio's rooftop on 12 April. Autostrad have so far released three albums: Fe Autostrad (2008), Autostrad (2011) and Nitrogen (2013).
