Zamalek will face Zambian side, Nkana FC in the first leg of the African Champions League round of 16 on 22 March, the Cairo giants announced on Tuesday. Nkana FC defeated Uganda's Kampala City 2-1 on Saturday to reach the round of 16 with a 4-3 aggregate victory, having played out a 2-2 draw at home to Kampala City in the first leg. "Nkana FC informed us in an official letter that they will host the first leg on 22 March," Zamalek said in a statement in its official website. Five-time winners Zamalek, who last won the Champions League in 2002, qualified for the last round of 16 after holding Kabuscorp to a 0-0 draw in Angola to achieve a 1-0 aggregate win. The second leg is due to take place from 28-30 March in Cairo.
