South Africa's Kaizer Chiefs and ES Setif of Algeria eased into the African Champions League last 16 on Sunday after overcoming Liga Muculmama and ASFA Yennega respectively. Chiefs crushed Muculmama 3-0 in Mozambique to complete a comprehensive 7-0 aggregate victory, thanks to a hat-trick from striker Knowledge Musona. Setif played out a goalless draw at Burkina Faso's ASFA Yennega to easily advance, having thumped their opponents 5-0 in the first-leg in Algeria. Nigeria's Enyimba, who won back-to-back Champions League titles in 2003 and 2004, were not as lucky as the other big guns, bowing out of the tournament despite beating Real Bamako 1-0 in Mali. They were eliminated on the away goal rule after slumping to a 2-1 defeat at home to Bamako in the first leg. Congo's AC Leopards went through with a 4-3 aggregate win despite losing 2-0 to Primeiro Agosto of Angola and Zambia's Nkana FC secured passage to the next round with the same aggregate score following their 2-1 second-leg loss to Uganda's Kampala City.
