Two police officers have been killed in a drive-by shooting in the Saqqara district of Giza, west of Cairo, Al-Ahram's Arabic news website reported. There has been a wave of attacks on army and police personnel since the ouster of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi on 3 July 2013 following mass protests against his rule. In late January, an aide to the interior minister was shot dead in a drive-by shooting when he was leaving his home in Giza. Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim escaped an assassination attempt in September. http://english.ahram.org.eg/News/94211.aspx
