Draw with Hodoud 'unacceptable', says Zamalek board member
Whites await possible penalty from football association after fans breach crowd ban during disappointing 1-1 with Haras El-Hodoud
Published in Ahram Online on 20 - 01 - 2014

Zamalek board member Ayman Younes was far from satisfied with the team's "unacceptable and unexpected" 1-1 home draw with Haras El-Hodoud on Sunday.
The Whites missed the chance to bridge the gap with Group B leaders Ismaily after drawing with second-from-bottom Hodoud.
"Zamalek's performance against Hodoud was lacklustre; in fact, it was one of the worst games we've played for quite a long time," Younes – a former club star – told the club's website.
"The team's lack of focus was quite apparent due to them being preoccupied with some off-the-field issues.
"The display was unacceptable and unexpected at the same time, especially in the second half that saw Hodoud regain control and draw level.
"The manager and the players alike should address their points of weaknesses if they intend to get the team back on track."
Zamalek risk EFA sanction
Zamalek could be punished by the Egyptian Football Association after their fans entered the stadium during the Hodoud match, defying a crowd ban.
Zamalek ultras stormed the pitch 15 minutes into the second half, an action that could see Hodoud handed a 2-0 walkover win in addition to a LE30,000 fine.
"The supporters incident has been documented in my match report," match official Mohamed El-Sakran announced.
In the past such incidents have resulted in a fine.
Egyptian Premier League matches are currently being held behind closed doors due to lingering security concerns amid the ongoing political turmoil.
