Squash: Egypt's Elshorbagy loses to Gaultier in World Championship semis
Mohamed Elshorbagy loses to Gaultier in the semifinals of the squash World Championship on Saturday

Egypt's Mohamed Elshorbagy lost to Frenchman Gregory Gaultier 3-1 in the Squash World Championship semifinals, depriving the country of a representative in the final after Ramy Ashour was eliminated from the tournament due to injury earlier on Saturday.
Frenchman Gregory Gaultier - world number 2 - overcame Elshorbay with a 3-1 win (6-11, 11-3, 11-8, 12-10) in 78 minutes.
"It was a great tournament, but I'm hugely disappointed to lose, I really wanted to win this tournament," Elshorbagy quoted as saying by Squash Site.
"I worked so hard for this, and I realise now - thanks to Marwan's input – that the difference of focus I have between a normal tournament and this tournament is huge," he added.
"It like I've been doing all my life, I never cared about ranking points, or things like that. I just focus on wining tittles. And that's maybe why this event is such crucial for me,"
"I need to start focusing on other tournaments as much as I focus/prepare for this one." The Egyptian star - world number 6 – concluded.
Earlier on Saturday, Ashour was forced to withdraw from the game against Englishman Nick Matthew after sustaining an injury.
