Egypt Olympic coach Ramzy ready for Botswana test Football team wind up their preparation ahead of Friday's 2012 London Olympic qualifier against Botswana
Egypt Olympic national team are finalizing their preparation for Friday's test against Botswana in the 2012 London Olympic Games football tournament qualifiers. The match will be held in PetroSport stadium as security reasons prevented the Olympic Pharaohs to host it in Port Said. The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) decided to let the fans attend for free to support the newly-formed team in their first official appearance. Coach Hany Ramzy revealed that he will not announce his squad before the match to keep the young players focused during training. “It's not an easy game as we don't know enough about the opponent but I trust my players' abilities,” Ramzy said. Ramzy's team this month travelled to Sudan for a closed camp during which they defeated their Sudanese counterparts 1-0 and local club Hilal 2-0 in friendly games. The Pharaohs have not appeared in the Olympics since the 1992 games in Barcelona.
