Egypt's Olympic team will face South Africa in a friendly game next month as part of their preparations for the 2012 London Games. The Pharaohs will begin a training camp on December 11 before hosting South Africa at Cairo Stadium five days later, the Egyptian FA said on its official website on Tuesday. "I believe that this match will be very important to the team's preparations for the Olympic Games qualifiers," EFA technical director Fathi Noseir said. Egypt, who are coached by the national team's former defender Hany Ramzy, thrashed Moldova 5-0 in a friendly earlier this month. Ramzy is burdened with the task of qualifying Egypt for the Olympic Games for the first time since the 1992 tournament, which took place in Barcelona.
