The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has postponed Egypt and Libya qualifying match to the African Olympics in Mozambique. The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) announced on their official website that they have received a letter from the CAF informing them of the rescheduling of the game and asking Egypt to choose a date between 24 and 26 June. The qualifier was previously scheduled to be played in Cairo, between 16 and 17 April, after security reasons prevented Libya from being able to host it. The winner of the two countries, both in the grips of revolutionary change, will book a ticket to the Mozambique Olympics which will be held between 3 and 18 September. The Olympic Pharaohs have reached the last-16 round in the 2012 Olympic Games qualifiers, despite slumping to a 2-1 defeat in Botswana on Friday. The draw, for the last-16 round, is to be held tomorrow and the CAF will announce new regulations for qualifying for the Olympics. Under the helms of Hany Ramzy, Egypt are bidding to qualify for the Olympic Games for the first time since the 1992 tournament in Barcelona.
