Egypt winger Kahraba scores second goal in Switzerland Talented Pharaohs winger scores second goal in as many games as Luzern draw at Swiss Super League
Egypt's winger Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim 'Kahraba' scored his second successive goal at the Swiss Super League in his team Luzern's 1-1 draw with Young Boys on Sunday. It took only five minutes for the Pharaohs' promising player to put his team in the lead, but the visitors came back from behind with an 85-minute late goal by midfielder Michael Frey. Kahraba's goal is his second in a row after opening his account with Luzern in last week's 2-0 win over FC Zurich in the Swiss Super League. The 20-year-old Abdel-Moneim joined FC Luzern from Egyptian outfit ENPPI in the summer, penning a one-year deal with an option to extend his stay until 2017. The winger, who has outstanding attack skills, caught attention internationally after his appearance in the U-20 World Cup and during the African Championship, when the Young Pharaohs defeated Ghana in the final. Luzern are third in the Swiss Super league, with 19 points after 12 games. Abdel-Moneim's nickname 'Kahraba' translates to 'Electricity,' an expression of his lively performance.
