Egypt U-20 star Mahmoud ‘Kahraba' is one step away from completing a one-year loan to Switzerland's Luzern. The 19-year-old ENPPI forward passed a medical and agreed personal terms with Luzern but has yet to obtain a long-term entry visa. "There is only one problem with the visa," Luzern sporting director Alexander Frei, who used to play with Mohamed Salah at Basel, told Schweizer Radio und Fernsehen. "Everything has been firmly nailed. We have an agreement with the club and with the player. "The problem is that the Swiss embassy in Cairo opens at irregular times because of the unrest in the country. "Kahraba just needs to pick up the paper and it is done." New Salah? Asked by the renowned Swiss radio station if Kahraba can make the same impact of Egypt ace Salah with Basel, Frei acknowledged the notion that the teenager can be a major asset. "Kahraba can be a big offensive asset to our team," Switzerland's all-time leading goalscorer added. "He is a player who can play at both flanks and also as a second forward behind the striker." Luzern are currently second in the Swiss Super League with three wins from four games.
