Egypt to play second friendly against Uganda in two days Egypt will face Uganda for the second time in two days in preparation for the 15 October clash against Ghana in the first leg of the World Cup qualifying playoff
Egypt will play another friendly against Uganda after beating them 2-0 on Monday as they prepare for the anticipated clash away to Ghana in the first leg of the World Cup qualifying playoff on 15 October. The Egyptian Football Association said the game would be played at 14:00 GMT (16:00 Cairo local time) at the army-owned Air Defence Stadium, which will also host the return leg against Ghana on 19 November. A second-string Egypt side eased past Uganda on Monday, thanks to goals from Zamalek duo Ahmed Eid and Hazem Emam. The Pharaohs will also have to do without Ahly players and the foreign-based footballers. Cairo giants Ahly are busy preparing for Saturday's clash away to Cameroon's Coton Sport in the first leg of the African Champions League semi-final.
