Zamalek coach Jorvan Viera has said the 1-0 win over Ittihad El-Shorta on the 11th match day of the Egyptian Premier League season was a tough game.
"The Ittihad El-Shorta game was very difficult game," Viera was quoted as saying on Zamalek's official website.
"El-Shorta is a great team and we missed chances to double the score," he added. "We will work hard during the coming days to avoid the mistakes that players made in the game.
"The victory over El-Shorta is important to help the players to forget the 1-1 draw with Ethiopia's Saint George in the CAF Champions league [on Saturday]."
Zamalek are in the driving seat of Group B in the Egyptian Premier League with 27 points, six over second place Ismaily.
