Ahly's Soliman ready to play against CA Bizertin in Champions League Ahly's winger says he is ready to play against CA Bizerin if team's coach decides to field him in Sunday's clash
Ahly's winger Walid Soliman said on Wednesday he is ready to play against CA Bizertin in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 on Sunday after recovering from injury. Soliman has been named in Ahly's squad for the CA Bizertin clash for the first time since last December when he underwent a knee surgery. Ahly's doctor Ihab Aly revealed on Wednesday that the player is fit to play but said it is unlikely that he will feature on Sunday, given his long absence. "I am ready to play in Sunday's clash if coach decides to rely on me," Walid Soliman told Ahly's official website on Wednesday. "I believe I can play for 15 or 20 minutes but I am ready to accept any decision from my coach." The 27-year-old, who joined Ahly in the summer of 2011, was instrumental in the team's triumphant campaign in the Champions League last year, scoring a precious goal in the finale.
