Ahli are set to fly to Tunis on Thursday morning for the round of 16 clash against CA Bizertin, despite the latter's announcement of suspending sporting activities. Only five days before their home game with Ahli, Bizertin announced freezing professional sports indefinitely in protest over a domestic dispute with the Tunisian FA. However, Ahli named a squad of 21 players for the Sunday game, while Bizertin have yet to reveal their plans about hosting the game. Meanwhile, Walid Soliman returned to the Ahli roster after more than four months on the sidelines with a knee injury. Sayed Moawad, who also returned in the recent win over Tusker after a long setback, made the squad for the second game running.
