Tunisia's CA Bizertin have announced ‘freezing all sporting activities', five days before their CAF Champions League clash against Ahli. The announcement came in response to the Tunisian FA's decision to disqualify Bizertin from the final stages of the domestic league. Bizertin finished level on points with Group A rivals Esperance and Club Africain, even so the Tunisian football governing body controversially ruled that the latter duo have qualified for the final stage. “CA Bizertin freeze all sporting activities without exception and urge fans to remain calm and refrain from all forms of violence," the club said in a statement. According to Tunisian reports, Bizertin fans have been involved in clashes with local police on Monday night. Bizertin were supposed to host Ahli on Sunday.
