Egypt's Abd-Rabou ready for Al-Nasr return Pharaohs midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou could return for Al-Nasr against Al-Ahly on Monday after recovering from a knee injury that sidelined him for three weeks
Egypt and Al-Nasr midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou has recovered from a knee injury he sustained last month, Saudi newspaperOkaz revealed on Wednesday. The 28-year-old will arrive in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday after having treatment at Ismaily, the club which loaned him to Al-Nasr in the summer. He could boost Al-Nasr's midfield in Monday's league match against Al-Ahly. "Abd-Rabou will rejoin training on Wednesday after finishing his rehabilitation programme," Okaz said. The Pharaohs star has been out of action for three weeks due to a torn knee ligament he picked up after scoring twice in Al-Nasr's 4-2 victory over Al-Taawon in the Saudi Crown Prince Cup round of 16. Abd-Rabou joined Al-Nasr from Egyptian coastal club Ismaily on a season-long loan last summer for his second stint in Saudi football, having played for Ittihad last season. After delivering some impressive displays in Saudi football, the Egyptian star was recently linked with a move to Belgian giants Anderlecht.
