Al-Nasr and Egypt star Hosni Abd-Rabou is set for a three-week layoff due to a knee injury, his Saudi club said. Abd-Rabou suffered a tear in the internal knee ligament after scoring two goals for Al-Nasr in a 4-2 victory over Al-Taawon in the Crown Prince Cup. He is now certain to miss his team's next two games, including a clash against former club Ittihad Jeddah later this month. Abd-Rabou's injury is similar to the one sustained by Mohamed Zidan in Bani Yas' win over Al-Wasl this week; a game that also witnessed the injury of Egypt midfielder Shikabala. The Pharaohs now have more than five players on the sidelines, including Hossam Ghaly, Ahmed Hegazi and Amr Zaki.
