Egypt Coach Bob Bradley expresses satisfaction over EFA's decision to renew its confidence in him, despite team's elimination from African Cup of Nations qualifiers

Pharaohs coach Bob Bradley said on Monday that he was "satisfied" after the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) renewed its confidence in him as Egypt's coach, despite the Pharaohs' elimination from the first round of African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The EFA held a meeting on Monday to decide Bradley's fate with the Pharaohs, where they decided to give him another chance.
"Thanks to Egypt's FA for their decision. I hope they continue to back the team," Bradley told Reuters on Monday.
"I'm very sad that the Pharaohs failed to reach the next African Cup of Nations, but I promise to do my best to guide the Egyptian team to the next World Cup," he added.
The seven-time African championswere knocked out of the first round of African Cup of Nations qualifiers after a 4-3 loss on aggregate to Central Africa's Minnows.
The American coach added that the Pharaohs should continue their good start in the World Cup qualifiers, as they led group G with six points after two successive wins over Mozambique (2-0) and Guinea (3-2) in Alexandria and Conakry respectively.
"I'm optimistic regarding the team's capacities to reach the next World Cup. We made a good start in the qualifiers and we're determined to continue our triumphant campaign," he said.
The Pharaohs have failed to qualify for the World Cup since their last appearance in 1990, when they reached the World Cup of Italia under the guidance of coach Mahmoud El-Gohary.
