Ofouky Music Forum in El-Cabina starting 5.30pm
The forum hosted by Gudran Association in Alexandria mixes film screenings, live music performances and workshops. Tonight at 5.30pm there will be a film screening of La Vie en Rose, the cinematic tribute to the French singing legend Edith Piaf, and at 8pmthe Wasla Band from Alexandria will perform alternative pop, followed by the Meshwar Band from Cairo performing Reggea. Film Screening of Salvador Puig Antich at the Artistic Creativity Centre at 6pm
This 2004 production by Manuel Huerga was part of the Un Certain Regard programme at Cannes in 2006. It tells the story of the last execution under Franco, following the family, colleagues and lawyers of a young militant of the Iberian Liberation Movement, Puig Antich, and their attempts to prevent his execution.
