Coptic Cairo (near Mar Girgis Metro Station) Beloved arias, songs from musicals, Broadway at Alexandria Opera House at 8pm Soloists from the Cairo Opera Company will perform a collection of the most beloved arias from famous operas, including songs from musicals and Broadway shows. More info here 22 El-Horreya Street (formerly Fouad Street) Cavewomen dance performance at Falaki Theatre, at 8pm Part of theSpring Festival, San Francisco's Dance Brigade will bring their unique blend of political dance, theatre, martial arts and taiko drumming with a feminist perspective in their acclaimed show, "Cavewomen: The Next Incarnation." More info here Cairo Opera House Main Hall, El-Gezira, Zamalek, Cairo Salalem Band at El-Sawy Culturewheel at 8pm Labelling themselves as a mix of Egyptian indie pop and funk-rock, the six members of the pop band came together in 2004. Their Arabic lyrics speak of the issues concerning today's youth. Salalem continue to create songs that are excitedly welcomed by their audience. River Hall at El-Sawy Culturewheel, 26 July Street, Zamalek, Cairo Sunday 13 May String Orchestra at the Alexandria Opera House at 7pm The String Orchestra will perform works of Boccherini (Cello Concerto) and Mozart (Piano Concerto No 21 and Symphony No 29). Wisdom Hall, El-Sawy Culturewheel,26 July Street, Zamalek, Cairo Contemporary dance performance at Metropol Theatre at 8pm Titled "My Family," the performance is within the framework of the Tonight Theatre Festival. It is a combination of storytelling and contemporary dance. Ataba, Downtown, Cairo Pulse II exhibition at Tache Art Gallery Pulse II exhibition at Tache Art is the sequel to Pulse.
