Egypt purchases 120,000 tons of US wheat

The General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC) has signed a contract to import 120,000 tons of wheat from the US, the authority said in a statement Tuesday.
The shipment will arrive on 25 April through 5 May, it added.
GASC said on Monday it would go back to securing letters of credit within 180 days instead of immediate payment.
The offer was presented by Cargill.
