Libyan side Ahly Tripoli is preparing to go shopping this January in Sudan, to secure the services of Al-Hilal striker Edward Sadomba, according Sudanese newspaper Kon. “Ahly have snatched the signature of Al-Merreikh Malian player Lassana Fane and they are eager to land Al-Hilal Zimbabwean striker Sadomba for six months on loan,” the Libyan team's marketing director Ismail Shetewi told Kon. Libyan giants Ahly have offered the 27-year old striker a six-month contract on loan for $350,000.“We will pay $200,000 for Al-Hilal and $150,000 for the Zimbabwean player, beside his salary, to put pen to paper,” Shetewiadded. Edward Sadomba played 47 games with Sudanese League champions Al-Hilal in the 2009-2010 season and struck the net 34 times.
