In a wintry weather forecast, Cairo is witnessing a foggy atmosphere with rain in some districts. Lower Egypt and coastal cities are experiencing heavy rainfall. The meteorological agency has announced that Egypt would experience very cold weather with heavy rains until Friday afternoon. The temperature is forecast to drop by 3 or 4 degrees celcius within the coming couple of days. In many parts of Cairo, streets were at standstill because of the muddy and wet conditions.
