Speaking of the philosophy that underpins his paintings, Meleka told Al-Ahram Arabic News that “at the heart of my work is the human being, his relationship with time, and the legacy he leaves behind him.” “As such, my works are scenes that depict the incessant rhythm flowing in harmony between the human being and his surrounding environment.” Gamal Meleka is an Egyptian painter and sculptor living in Milan. Operating under the Fine Arts Sector, Al-Bab Gallery is one of Cairo's active cultural players, with a variety of ongoing exhibitions.
