AS Roma manager Luciano Spalletti has said that Egypt's winger Mohamed Salah 'would belong in the English Premier League' following the 2-1 win over heavyweight Inter Milan in the 7th match day of the Italy Serie late on Sunday. The Pharaohs' star, Salah wasted many chances in the game that moved Roma to 13 points in a thrilling end-to-end in the Italian capital. Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah started the game before being replaced in the 70th minute. "Salah would belong in English football, as he has this sprint over 60 metres that leaves you standing," Spalletti said after the game. There were 22 shots on goal in the first half alone, including two for the Pharaohs star, although only Edin Dzeko got on the scoresheet, firing Roma in front in the fifth minute. "He isn't very strong defensively, so it becomes tricky for the team to make up for that, especially against a side like Inter," The Roma coach added. Three days ago, Spaletti praised the performance of Salah after scoring a goal during the 4-0 Europa League group-stage victory over Romania's Astra at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday. "I tried to make use of Salah's pace and Totti's experience, which will help the team, and we gained it today when the leader lofted a through-ball to the Egyptian to find the net," the Roma coach said. "Salah's pace was useful for the team as he prevented the foes' front line from exhausting our defence," Spalletti added. Roma are 3rd in the Italy Serie A teams' table with 13 points after seven games.
