Teacher sentenced to one year in jail for impersonating military officer A military court has sentenced a teacher to one year in prison with hard labour for impersonating a military officer
A military court has sentenced a teacher to one year in prison with labour for impersonating a military officer for three months in Dakahlia, North East of Cairo. Mohamed Wagdi Zidan, 33, was arrested early this month after pretending to be a border guard officer. Wearing military uniform, Zidan paid the governorate office many visits over the past three months. Military officers in Dakahlia eventually had doubts over his identity before they instigated his arrest. Zidan will serve the year-long sentence in a civil prison.
