Al-Ain's Ghanaian striker Asamaoh Gyan described his move from the Premier League to Al-Ain as the "wisest decision he has ever made" after helping his Emirati side win three league titles in four years. The Ghana skipper left Sunderland in 2011 after accepting a lucrative offer from Al-Ain. His decision was heavily criticised by then Sunderland coach Steve Bruce, who said he "could not understand how a player can leave the biggest and best league in the world to go and play in the United Arab Emirates". However, after spending four years in the UAE, Gyan believes that he had made the right decision. "I think it has been the best decision I have taken in my career," Gyan was quoted as saying by Ghanasoccernet on Tuesday. "I feel great to win three titles in four years — it's a great achievement for me personally and for the club. “There was a lot of criticism for leaving England, but I think international level and club level have been better for me. "Everything has been going well for me in terms of scoring, which is my job.
