Egyptian winger Ahmed Elmohamady scored his second Premier League goal of the season but Hull City slumped to a 3-2 loss at home to leaders Chelsea on Sunday. Elmohamady ghosted behind Chelsea's full-back Filipe Luis to slide and tap in at the far post following a superb diagonal cross from Andrew Robertson on 26 minutes. Two minutes later, Abel Hernandez made it 2-2 following a dreadful blunder from Chelsea keeper Thibaut Courtois and Elmohamady spurned a golden chance to put them ahead four minutes past the hour mark. Another lapse of concentration from Luis allowed Elmohamady to escape his attention and control a long ball inside the area but his close-range shot was blocked by Belgian guardian Courtois. However, Chelsea substitute Loic Remy scored following his introduction to give Chelsea all three points. Elmohamady, 27, is one of the Premier League's most consistent performers this term. He has featured in all of Hull's 30 league matches so far and was substituted only once. His previous goal was in January when he headed home as Hull secured a 2-0 victory over Everton.
