VIDEO: Egypt's Elmohamady scores with Hull City in Premier League The Egypt winger scores his first goal this season with Hull City during the 3-2 win over Newcastle United in the English Premier League on Saturday
Egypt and Hull City right winger Ahmed Elmohamady opened his account this season as his side came from behind to beat Newcastle 3-2 in the English Premier League on Saturday. The 25-year-old, who played the full 90 minutes, headed home shortly after the break to make it 2-2. Loic Remy put Newcastle ahead after 10 minutes but Hull's Robert Brady equalized six minutes later. Remy restored Newcastle's advantage on the stroke of halftime but Elmohamady leveled the score again three minutes after the restart. He escaped the attention of his marker to rise at the near post and flick the ball past Newcastle keeper. Sone Aluko then scored Hull's winning goal in the 76th minute. Elmohamady helped the Tigers qualify for the Premier League as he made 41 appearances and scored three goals last season. It's the first win for Hull City this season after they lost three games and drew once in their opening four games.
