Abdel Moez Ibrahim, the head of the Supreme Electoral Committee (SEC), urged voters to practice their constitutional and legal right and vote in the second phase of parliamentary elections. Ibrahim also warned against holding any electoral campaign during the electoral moratorium, which begins Monday. He also said that he assigned all responsible sides to file lawsuits against anyone violating campaign regulations and against those who use religious slogans during their electoral campaign. Yousry Abdel Karim, head of the administration office of the SEC, said there are 18,826,394 eligible voters in the second stage, distributed over 4,589 polling stations. The second phase of elections will be carried out over 25 electoral districts for lists and 30 for individual candidates. Participating governorates include Giza, Beni Suef, Menoufia, Sharqia, Ismailia, Suez, Beheira, Sohag and Aswan.
