CAIRO: The number of Egyptians eligible to vote in the second phase of the parliamentary elections scheduled for December 14 and 15, reached 18.8 millions people, according to the Egyptian Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics. The second phase of elections will be carried out in nine Egyptian governorates, including Giza, Sharqia, Menoufia, Suez, Beheira, Beni Suef, Aswan and Sohag. The number eligible voters in Beheira reached 3.2 million, 3.5 million in Sharqia; 2.2 million in Menoufia and 652,503 in Suez. As for Upper Egypt, the number of eligible people reached 2.3 million, 2.3 million in Sohag, 1.4 million in Beni Sueif and 805,125 million in Aswan. The eligible votes are over 18 years of age and so the total number of eligible voter in all Egyptian governorates reached 49.2 million people. Arabic here
