CAIRO - Twenty people were killed and another nine injured in three separate road accidents that occurred in the governorates of Qena, Beni Sueif and el-Beheira, police said. In the first incident, 14 workers died in a bus crash on the Qena-Sohag Road, security chief Major-General Mohamed Halima said. In Beni Sueif, five persons, including two children, died and seven others were seriously injured when their speeding car rammed into a truck parked on the Beni Sueif-Cairo Road, police added. Meanwhile, earlier in the day, a driver was instantly killed and two passengers of his were injured when their microbus flipped over on a road near Damanhur City, el-Beheira Governorate.
