The votes of Egyptian expatriates began to be counted at the Egyptian embassy in Amman, Jordan Monday, after they voted in runoffs of the first stage of elections. The Egyptian Ambassador in Jordan, Amr Abol Ata said, once voting ended the vote counting committee was headed by him and representatives of the Egyptian community in Jordan. Ata added the runoff round saw a large turnout, with voters casting their ballots by mail or presenting them to the Embassy in Amman.
