Egyptian inventor Haitham Disouki won the Arab Inventors Star in the international Arab contest Science Stars after receiving more than 35 percent of the audience votes. Haitham won first prize, estimated at 1.8 million EGP (U.S. $483,000) to finance and develop his invention and turn it into a product in the Arab and European market. The young inventors' ages range between 18 to 30 and can apply to participate in the new season of the Science Stars.
