Egypt's Central Bank will sell treasury bonds valued at 5.5 billion EGP (U.S. $918.2 million) Thursday. The value of first release of bonds will be 2 billion EGP (U.S. $333.9 million), while the second will be 3.5 EGP (U.S. $584.3 million), sources told Youm7. Egypt's budget deficit, valued at 134 billion EGP (U.S. $22.4 billion), is financed by the Egyptian Central Bank through 120 billion EGP (U.S. $20 billion) in treasury bonds, while Arab and International aid covers the other 14 billion EGP (U.S. $2.3 billion).
