Liberal parties coordinate to confront Islamists

Ahmed Khairy, a member of Free Egyptians Party's political bureau, told Youm7 that the parties of Egyptian bloc met with the Justice Party, Al-Wafd Party, the Reform and Development Party, and the Revolution Continues Alliance.
The parties decided to support candidates running for individual seats during the runoff portion of the first phase of elections, scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, to avoid fragmentation.
"They negotiated to support Dr. Moustafa al-Naggar, the individual candidate for the Nasr City constituency, against Sheikh Mohamed Yousri, an independent candidate supported by the Freedom and Justice Party" said Khairy.
