Employees of polling stations in Cairo's Fourth Constituency, which includes the neighborhoods of Heliopolis, El-Shorouq, Badr, and Nozha, protested outside the judiciary committee supervising elections at Heliopolis School, after not being paid. They called on candidate Amr Hamzawy, who is waiting for the results of the election, to solve their problem. “We have not slept for two days and we do not know where we will receive our money from or how much they will pay us,” they said. “Some people told us that they would pay us 150 EGP per day, and others said the pay is 300 EGP per day.” The Heliopolis Preparatory School for girls saw clashes between employees monitoring polling stations and army forces due to this issue. The employees said the army promised to pay them 500 EGP (U.S. $85) per employee. Arabic here
