Polling stations in other areas in Cairo were delayed because no ballots had been delivered, including Helwan and Zamalek. 1:00am Egypt's Ministry of Health has drafted a plan to secure the first stage of elections for the People's Assembly, the lower house of Egypt's bicameral parliament, which began today. The ministry will provide 533 ambulances in the governorates which will witness the elections. The ministry raised the emergency state in different facilities in the nine governorates that are voting today. They also checked the validity of ambulances and medical devices in the different hospitals.
