CAIRO: A total of 65 movements and public personalities raised slogans to express their protest against the bloody clashes in Tahrir Square between security forces and demonstrators, chanting "No condolence and no apology [accepted]." They added Egypt's ruling military council and its government failed to manage the current transitional period. In a statement distributed in Tahrir Square, they said Egypt witnessed economic deterioration in addition to violation committed by security forces against the demonstrators that led to thousands of injured citizens. Signatories criticized the policies adopted by the military rulers, adding it should bear criminal responsibility. They demanded authorities to suspend the massacres committed by security forces in Tahrir and prosecute those involved in killing the demonstrators. They also stressed the need for the formation of a national salvation government with full authority and to determine a schedule to meet these revolutionary demands. On the other hand, there was a fire in a school in Mohamed Mahmoud St., resulted by the violent clashes between security forces and demonstrators early Thursday November 24. Security forces fired teargas at demonstrators intensively, while demonstrators set fire to tires to prevent the security from reaching to the demonstrators in Tahrir Square.
